01

Match Play

The doubling cube is in play. The format rotates depending on how many players show up: smaller turnouts may play round-robin or a single 4-player bracket, while larger turnouts run 8- or 16-player double-elimination brackets. Match lengths also adjust — typically 5- to 7-point matches in the main bracket, with a longer final.

02

Entry Fees

Entry fees depend on what brackets you enter and how many times you re-enter. Entry fees are typically $10–$20 with optional side pools.

03

Club Points

Members earn season points for attendance and placement. Check the standings page to see the current leaderboard.

Why do we love backgammon?

“Playing backgammon is good for my brain and good for my social life. Working out the probabilities, the strategies and the tactics really gets the blood flowing through my brain. And some of the best people I know I've met through backgammon. And while more experienced players tend to win more, I really like how a total beginner can beat an expert if the dice are right!”

— Russ Kendall, Bellingham

“Backgammon has it all — strategic depth, fast action, and sudden reversals of fortune. Add to that a welcoming and knowledgable community for an all around fantastic gaming experience!”

— Rich Levinski, Seattle

“I love the clicking of the dice and the table talk… backgammon is a great social game.”

— Matt Cary, Seattle

“I love that this game can be learned in a couple of hours, but that it can take a lifetime to master. I love that it's NEVER boring! And I love the race.”

— Monica Colgan, Seattle

“I love the DRAMA! I'm addicted!”

— Melina Zamalloa, Seattle
